VIENNA, June 13 (Xinhua) -- OPEC oil output increased in May despite the agreement on output cut last month, the cartel's report showed on Tuesday.
The monthly report of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC) showed that led by Libya and Nigeria's output increase, the cartel's oil output reached 32.139 million barrels per day, 336,000 barrels per day higher than the output in April, also the highest level since the cartel started to implement the output cut agreement in January.
The output ceiling of OPEC agreed is 32.5 million barrels per day.
