BEIJING, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Hengtong Optic-electric Co., Ltd (600487.SH) announced on late March 19 that it has won the bidding for 17.5981 million U.S. dollars Thailand telecom infrastructure upgrading project.
According to a company filing, the project aims to improve Internet connection covering 2, 4700 Thailand residents. The bidding project will have a positive effect on the company’s operating performance in 2017, and contribute to implementing internationalization strategy of the company along with the Belt and Road Initiative.
In the first half year of 2016, the company’s overseas revenue witnessed year-on-year growth of 183.81 percent to 1.28 billion yuan (about 185 million U.S. dollars).
