BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) -- China Triumph International Engineering Co.,Ltd. (CTIEC) recently held the commencement ceremony for its 220MW ground-based PV plant in Vaqueiros, a small town in southern Portugal.
CTIEC got the EPC contract for the PV plant project last November, which is expected to become the largest PV power plant in Europe in terms of single installed capacity when completed, the company said in a company release.
CTIEC has leaped to become the largest Chinese-funded PV EPC contractor in Europe by actively developing oversea PV EPC market in recent years guided by the strategies of its parent company China National Building Material Group (CNBM).
During the past three years, CTIEC has completed EPC projects of large-scale ground-based PV plant of more than 200MW in the UK, including the largest single and the second largest single PV plant, and won the “PV Project Of The Year” award in the UK.
