RABAT, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Oman signed here on Tuesday a memorandum of judicial cooperation to regulate the judicial cooperation and share information.
Inked by Morocco's first president of the supreme court, Mustafa Faris, and chairman of the Omani supreme court, Sheikh Is'haq bin Ahmed Al-Busaidi, the memorandum includes items related to information and expertise exchange in the procedural area.
Moreover, the memorandum supports cooperation in the field of prerogatives of the two courts, in addition to exchanging judgments, decisions and the judicial publications.
The signing came as Al-Busaidi visited Morocco. He also met with other officials of Morocco, including the minister of justice.
The two sides discussed means for supporting judicial and justice cooperation between the two countries. Enditem
