VALLETTA, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Malta's inflation edged up slightly by 0.68 percent year on year last month, official data revealed on Thursday.
The reading, measured by the Retail Price Index, was slightly higher than that for October, according to Malta's National Statistics office.
The rise was attributed to higher prices of vegetables, non--alcoholic beverages and home furniture respectively.
"We are succeeding in recording robust economic growth rates while maintaining a low inflation level," said Malta's Finance Minister Edward Scicluna. Enditem
