SOFIA, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Bulgarian gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3.0 percent year-on-year in 2015 in real terms, according to preliminary data released by the country's National Statistical Institute (NSI) on Tuesday.
The nominal value of the GDP for 2015 was 83.373 billion BGN or 48.953 billion U.S. dollars using the average annual exchange rate of 1.76441 BGN for 1 dollar, the NSI said.
GDP per capita was 6,801 dollars, NSI said.
Meanwhile, gross value added (GVA) at current prices amounted to 73.805 billion BGN, and in real terms it increased by 1.5 percent in comparison with the 2014, NSI said.
According to data, the industry' relative share in the GVA of the national economy was 27.6 percent, while the service sector created 67.3 percent of the total GVA and agriculture - 5.1 percent.
Bulgaria's GDP grew by 1.6 percent in 2014, 1.3 percent in 2013, and 0.2 percent in 2012, official data show. Enditem
