BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced recently it will soon unveil five-year plans (2016-2020) for the development of foreign trade and commerce and trade logistics.
The ministry has formulated and implemented the outline of the 13th Five-Year Plan for Commerce Development this year, and has basically completed the work of drawing up 15 special plans on foreign trade, service trade, domestic trade, e-commerce, agricultural products market construction and commerce and trade logistics development, said MOC Spokesman Shen Danyang, adding these special plans will be released one after another.
Focusing on “innovation, coordination, green, opening-up and sharing,” the 13th Five-Year Plan for Foreign Trade Development has highlighted the requirements of deepening the supply-side structural reform and put emphasis on transforming the driving force of development, optimizing foreign trade structure and fostering new competitive strength during the 2016-2020 period.
The 13th Five-Year Special Plan for the Development of Commerce and Trade Logistics has put forward seven major tasks for the commerce and trade logistics industry, including the construction of urban and rural logistics networks, standardization of commerce and trade logistics, construction of commerce and trade logistics platforms, enhancement of function of commerce and trade logistics parks, e-commerce logistics, innovative development of commerce and trade logistics and green development of commerce and trade logistics.
