BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) Thursday announced in a notification that it will start building an insurance policy information registration and managementplatformin a bid to improve insurance industry infrastructure.
According to the notification, work groups for building the platform should be established in local insurance regulatory bureaus and insurance companies, and directors or managers should be directly in charge of the groups.
The CIRC requires all life insurancecompanies and property insurance companies operating investment-oriented property insurance business to completeinsurance policy information registration of life insurance, annuity insurance and personal investment-oriented property insurance with maturities of more than one year including one year by the end of 2015.
