Abstract : China's foreign trade improved markedly in August while pressure on the country's export growth is expected to decrease further, customs data showed on September 8.
BEIJING -- China's foreign trade improved markedly in August while pressure on the country's export growth is expected to decrease further, customs data showed on September 8.
Exports in yuan-denominated terms rose 5.9 percent year on year in August, accelerating from 2.9 percent in July. Imports increased 10.8 percent, compared with a decline of 5.7 percent, according to figures from the General Administration of Customs (GAC).
