SHENYANG -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Northeast China's Liaoning province has been declining since the beginning of this year due to downturn of traditional industries and manufacturing industry. Nevertheless, emerging industries in Liaoning are attracting increasing foreign investment, which may help revitalize Liaoning's economy.
