BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company completed a six-day power supply guarantee for the 2026 Qingdeng Market National Aesthetics Conference with zero power disruptions.
The event, held Oct. 27 to Nov. 1 at the Qingdeng Stone Carving Art Museum complex in coastal city Wenzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province, featured more than 1,000 vendors and 1,500 brands showcasing 280,000 crafted works. With extended evening hours and concentrated load from opera stages, tea ceremonies and workshops, the event posed high standards for power reliability.
The local grid company established a dedicated guarantee team that conducted pre-event inspections of low-voltage lines, temporary connections and distribution equipment at the venue, and completed hazard rectification before the market opened.
During the event, the crews inspected the venues on foot and by drones, monitoring load changes in real time and checking joints, switches and temporary lines.
