When the 2026 World Power Battery Conference is scheduled to be held in Yibin of southwest China's Sichuan Province during September 3-4, a sub-event to delve into building a global power battery after-sales service regime will also take place.
Co-hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Machinery Sub-Council and China Battery Industry Association, the sub-event will bring together industry professionals.
By then, experts familiar with related policies, industry trends and talent cultivation, auto business leaders, power battery after-sales service teams such as those from the event's co-organizer Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL), and third-party maintenance platform heads will gather in Yibin.
A special session is also ready for authorized service providers from Europe, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East to discuss the building of a power battery global after-sales service system.
Meanwhile, a thematic exhibition zone to showcase the full-chain ecology of power battery after-sales services will also be available for attendees of the event on September 4.
Via physical models, digital platform demonstrations, and typical overseas application cases, China's services in this regard are expected to become more tangible, referring here to the mature solutions and pragmatic outcomes of Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) producers in power battery after-sales service, testing and diagnosis, remote operation and maintenance, emergency support and full life cycle management.
Instead of being a mere industry dialogue, the sub-event of the 2026 World Power Battery Conference stands more for an ongoing shift from "product exporting" to "service ecology establishing" in China's NEV sector.
Dedicated to spurring a deeper integration of Chinese standards with global comparables in power battery after-sales services, the activity is inviting all interested partners to talk about the new service ecology in global power battery sector.
