The State Grid Linyi Power Supply Company has launched 20 new power supply measures to enhance power support for local industrial development in Linyi, east China's Shandong Province, with a particular focus on development of 13 landmark industrial chains.
Linyi is accelerating the development of a modern industrial system characterized by distinctiveness, influence and competitiveness. With the advanced manufacturing as the main direction, the 13 industrial chains covering high-end stainless steel and advanced special steels, new energy commercial vehicles and high-end engineering equipment industries have been prioritized for development.
The newly-launched measures will emphasize strengthening grid infrastructure construction, upgrading service quality and promoting green electricity, in a bid to ensure stable power supply, facilitate industrial transformation, enhance services and support business growth. The company aims to provide reliable power backing for local economic revitalization, industrial upgrading and improvements in people's wellbeing.
The State Grid Linyi Power Supply Company has continuously optimized its power supply services to meet the power needs of key provincial, municipal and county projects, supporting the cultivation of a modern industrial system.
Statistics show that Linyi's 13 landmark industrial chains consumed 6.49 billion kWh of electricity in the first quarter of 2026, up 10.2 percent year on year. The robust growth in the power consumption vividly demonstrates the company's full-scale efforts to safeguard a stable and thriving local economy.
