BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Yuxi Power Supply Station under the State Grid Fuqing Power Supply Company in Fuqing City, southeast China's Fujian Province, was recognized as a "five-star" model for its digital transformation achievements during a recent evaluation by the State Grid Corporation of China.
The station has integrated its primary business operations into a unified digital platform. All employees now use a single account to access more than 10 professional systems, covering marketing, maintenance, and safety supervision. The platform tracks 165 key indicators that are updated daily, allowing the team to analyze data and address operational weaknesses more precisely.
Mobile technology has further streamlined field operations. Equipped with dual-system smartphones and scanning devices, technicians can now complete tasks such as automated meter installation, emergency repairs, and irrigation equipment inspections directly on-site. These processes are monitored via GPS and time-stamped photos to ensure accountability and reduce human error.
The digital shift has also improved core service metrics, including bill collection rates and line loss management. Through an integrated management mechanism, the station ensures that major tasks are tracked daily and closed within the month. In local communities like Jianxin Village, service points have implemented personalized digital files to provide proactive support for vulnerable residents.
Fu Lei, director of the Yuxi Power Supply Station, stated that the station will continue to focus on applying digital tools to frontline work to improve efficiency. State Grid Fuqing Power Supply Company plans to further upgrade its digital platforms to create more demonstration models for high-quality power services.
