BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Dutch online content creator Finn travels to China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and visits the Industrial Park of Chinese dairy company Mengniu, learning about the immense effort Mengniu puts into combating desertification in the Ulan Buh Desert.
With great dedication, Mengniu has planted over 98 million trees and various plants, covering more than 220 square kilometers of desert. It has successfully transformed the area into a green oasis, providing forage grass for its cows.
During his tour of the Industrial Park, Finn is greatly impressed by the world-leading dairy production base Mengniu has built. He also learns about the company's close collaboration with the Olympic Games, as International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Kirsty Coventry had just completed her visit to the Industrial Park as well to check out the Chinese milk capital.
Mengniu doesn't stop here. The company continues to strive for a better future, vowing to peak carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, while continuing to deliver premium dairy products worldwide. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
