BMW Group announced plans to invest more than €30 million ($35 millon) in a southern extension of its paintshop in the Bavarian town of Dingolfing.
The two-year project will expand the existing facility, with construction set to begin in September and operations expected to start in spring 2027.
"The forthcoming extension will offer over 2,000 square metres of space across two levels for adding customers' desired finishes and special paintwork options to even more cars in ever more efficient processes," said Plant Director Christoph Schröder.
