MILAN, April 9 (Class Editori) -- The new board of directors for the next three years of the ICCF -- Italy China Council Foundation -- has been approved. During the assembly held in Milan on Tuesday, April 8, the foundation confirmed Mario Boselli as president, Diana Bracco as executive vice president, and for the first time elected a Chinese vice president: Xuan Cheng, general manager of ICBC Milan. Riccardo Garosci, vice president of Confcommercio-Imprese per l'Italia, was also reappointed.
Among the newly elected board members are Stefano Caselli, Dean of SDA Bocconi School of Management; Saverio Silvia, Chief International Business Officer and board member at Desa Group; and Giada Zhang, CEO of Mulan Group. This board will serve until 2027.
General Director Marco Bettin will continue to lead ICCF, while the supervisory body remains under the direction of Mario De Togni. The assembly also provided an opportunity to confirm the members of the board of directors of the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce, which shares members with the ICCF board. Boselli was reconfirmed as president, with Renzo Cavalieri as vice president and Alcide Luini as treasurer. The Italy-China Chamber of Commerce and the Italy China Foundation merged in 2022 to form ICCF.
"In recent years, ICCF has established itself as the primary point of reference in Italy-China relations -- a key player in high-level institutional relations, as well as in promoting and implementing concrete projects to support trade and cooperation across multiple sectors," said Boselli.
"I am confident that with the valuable collaboration of our board members, and with the support of the vice presidents -- including, for the first time, a representative directly from the Chinese economic system -- this goal can be realized." (All rights reserved)
