BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhua) -- China's booming symbiotic development of data and intelligence was highlighted at the 2025 Green Computing Power (Artificial Intelligence) Conference opening in Hohhot, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on July 12.
Themed on "jointly building a green computing power ecosystem and shaping a new future of AI", the conference gathered relevant parties from politics, industry, and academia to exchange ideas on industrial trends of green computing power, discuss AI technological practices and new opportunities in the digital economy, and jointly promote the development of new quality productive forces.

At the event, a research report on the index of the green computing power of the hubs and nodes of the "East Data, West Computing" project was released. It shows that Hohhot's Horinger New Area ranks among the top three in various indicators such as high efficiency of computing equipment, energy-saving of computing carriers, etc.
It also shows the computing power scale in Hohhot has exceeded 101,000P, of which 96,000P is intelligent computing power, accounting for 95 percent of the total. Besides, the multi-cloud computing power resource monitoring and scheduling platform of the Horinger cluster has been officially connected to the national integrated computing power network resource monitoring platform, and the national pilot project for computing-electricity coordination under the national integrated computing power network has been in official operation.
At the AI experience and exhibition area, AI-related products such as robotic dogs, VR glasses and intelligent robots brought more immersive experiences, reflecting the solid steps of China in symbiotic development of data and intelligence. A series of innovative achievements in the AI field was officially released, involving AI cloud service, cloud e-sports, etc.
Inner Mongolia Big Data Industry Development Group Co., Ltd. officially released the first batch of 200 free and open high-quality public data theme lists at the event.
The 2025 Green Computing Power (Artificial Intelligence) Conference was hosted by the Hohhot Municipal People's Government, and organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Horinger new area administrative committee, and the Hohhot big data administration.
