YANGON, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese embassy in Myanmar on Wednesday launched a bilingual book titled "Voices from Paukphaw Hearts -- A Collection of Stories on the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Myanmar."
At the event, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ma Jia said that the story collection aims to record and spread the deep friendship between the two peoples. She hopes that both sides will discover and write more stories of China-Myanmar friendship and work together for a better future.
Myanmar's Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said the story collection is touching, and Myanmar is willing to further deepen cultural exchanges with China.
More than 300 Chinese and Myanmar guests attended the event.
