JAKARTA, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese automaker Geely has signed a strategic partnership with Voltron, Indonesia's leading electric vehicle (EV) charging network provider, to provide charging station facilities at all Geely official dealers in the Southeast Asian country to make EV charging more practical and convenient.
Geely has officially re-entered Indonesia's EV market since January this year, focusing on EV models including EX5.
As of now, Geely has six official dealers across various provinces in Indonesia, each equipped with after-sales service centers to meet consumer needs and offer a worry-free vehicle ownership experience, according to Geely Auto Indonesia.
"This collaboration with Voltron is concrete proof of Geely's commitment to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles in Indonesia. With the presence of Voltron charging station facilities in our authorized dealer network, customers can now enjoy more practical and convenient charging, enhancing the overall electric vehicle ownership experience," said Yusuf Anshori, brand director of Geely Auto Indonesia, in a press release on Thursday.
This partnership also supports Indonesia's national electric vehicle acceleration program and aligns with the country's net-zero emission target for 2060, representing a joint effort between the private sector and government to build a sustainable and accessible EV ecosystem.

This collaboration not only supports the program to accelerate the use of electric vehicles, but also emphasizes Voltron's commitment to providing reliable and easily accessible charging infrastructure for the public.
