BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese business delegation organized by Shandong Scitech Innovation Group Co., Ltd. (SDSTI) visited Australia from March 16 to 22 to boost industry cooperation.

Led by SDSTI General Manager Wang Jianxin, the delegation included representatives from technology-based enterprises such as Shandong Shanke Intellectual Property Operation Center Co., Ltd., Shandong Zhengzhong Information Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Beicheng Environment Engineering Co., Ltd., Qingdao Re-Store Biomedicine Group, and Yantai Xiangyan Material Technology Co., Ltd.

The visit, the latest one of the "Sci-tech Innovation Navigation" organized by SDSTI, witnessed strategic cooperation agreements inked between SDSTI, Shandong Shanke Intellectual Property Operation Center and Australia-China Youth Entrepreneurs League (ACYEL) as well as the China Australia Technology and Commercialisation Council (CATCEC) respectively, under which cooperation will be carried out in high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, among other fields to deepen China-Australia industrial chain collaborative innovation.
Meanwhile, the delegation also engaged in discussions on joint technology research and development, technology transfer, and sci-tech innovation services with well-known Australian institutions, universities, and enterprises including the Startupbootcamp Australia, Invest Victoria, the University of Melbourne, and Homart Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd.
A symposium on technology achievements was also organized at the University of Technology Sydney, where experts from leading institutions such as the University of Technology Sydney, the University of New South Wales, and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) discussed innovative entrepreneurship projects in such fields as biomedicine, sewage treatment, artificial intelligence.
It is noted that the "Sci-tech Innovation Navigation" is a service initiative of SDSTI aiming at facilitating international industry and technology cooperation.
The "Scitech Innovation Navigation" has organized 8 delegations since 2023, totaling more than 90 technology-based enterprises to visit well-known overseas universities and companies in Australia, Germany, and other countries, establishing connections with more than 80 professors and research teams, holding 11 overseas high-level talent symposia and technology-themed events, and engaging over 300 young talents from abroad to discuss cutting-edge technologies and flexible collaboration models.
