BEIJING, March 26 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition showcasing China's renowned Dehua white porcelain will open on Thursday on the 6th floor of the Museum of Kyoto in Kyoto, Japan.
Marking the first large-scale display of "Blanc de Chine" in Japan, the event features over 60 pieces, highlighting a millennium of craftsmanship forged through clay and fire.
On March 29, masters of arts and crafts from Fujian Province will showcase jade-like ceramic textures and decode intangible cultural heritage techniques.
As a special treat, visitors can receive limited-edition replica postcards of exquisite white porcelain pieces each day, with a chance to obtain an autograph from a master artisan. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
