China's practice of a people-centered development philosophy shows that people should come first, offering a fresh development model for global progress.
MINSK, March 7 (Xinhua) -- China has provided a new development philosophy for the global economy that emphasizes people-centered modernization, a senior Belarusian politician has said.
China's practice of a people-centered development philosophy shows that people should come first, offering a fresh development model for global progress, said Alexey Avdonin, secretary for international affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, in a recent interview with Xinhua.
China's experience offers valuable insights for managing socio-political and economic challenges effectively, particularly with its ability to maintain stability amid external and internal pressures, said Avdonin.
China's call for a world economy based on equality, equity and growth is gaining global support, Avdonin said, emphasizing that China seeks not to prosper at others' expense but to promote universal well-being.
On prospects for Belarus-China cooperation, Avdonin said that the two sides are fostering close trade, economic, technological and investment relations.
"For instance, we see the great demand for Belarusian-Chinese cars now. This is a result of close cooperation with China," he said.
