BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Linyi Trade City Internationalization Promotion Conference kicked off in Linyi, east China's Shandong Province on Thursday, attracting business representatives from over 20 countries and regions, leaders and representatives of overseas Chinese communities to pool wisdom and share insights, promoting internationalization of Linyi Trade City.
Through the conference, the development potential of Linyi City has been discovered by more foreign business communities. "The event provides a platform for businessmen, representatives from all over the world to communicate face-to-face with Linyi counterparts for cooperation," said Ahmed Mohamed Elsaid Soliman, founder and CEO of Baytalhekma for Culture. He hoped that the two sides would establish a regular cooperation mechanism, deepen business ties through business associations, enterprise alliances and other platforms to further enhance mutual understanding.
Shi Datuo, head of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, said that he would like to take Shandong-made products to Thailand and more countries.
The event also witnessed signing and awarding ceremonies and a report release. During the event, many representatives of international business associations and overseas buyers also visited Lanhua Cross-border E-commerce Industrial park, Shandong Haoduobao Supply Chain Co., Ltd, Xinminghui Smart Warehousing and Logistics Park, and Lantian Intelligent Logistic Port.
Linyi, an important commodity trading centre in the province and in the country, boasts a profound commercial heritage and strong market radiation. Linyi has a large market cluster, a large live-streaming e-commerce base, a well-connected logistic hub and a production-sale integration base.
In recent years, Linyi has also worked to cultivate a foreign trade entity, build an exhibition and marketing network connecting the overseas markets, set up global logistic channels, and create an open and convenient business environment, in a bid to promote trade city internationalization.
Looking forward, the city will embrace internationalization with the greatest sincerity, the most favoured policies and the best service.
