BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- State Grid East Inner Mongolia Electric Power Co., Ltd. has recently released a slew of measures to further improve power services in key areas in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
With detailed measures such as providing "one-stop" grid connection services through special task forces, the State Grid branch is working to better meet local industrial development, putting high-efficiency, fine-service and high-quality power supply into concrete actions.
It is noted that new energy such as wind power and solar energy have gradually become the main sources of power generation in eastern Inner Mongolia in recent years. In the meantime, the accelerating energy transition and industrial relocation have seen an increasing number of large enterprises and key projects settle and be implemented in Inner Mongolia, demanding more electricity and more power-related services.
The power company is moving fast in response. For instance, for new energy projects such as integrated power source-grid-load-storage projects, integrated wind-solar-hydrogen production demonstrative projects, fully self-utilized new energy generation projects, and green power supply projects for industrial parks, the State Grid branch sets up technical service teams and provides "one-stop" grid connection services.
In large industrial parks where key power users are concentrated, the power company takes the initiative to provide electricity services for production and capacity expansion support. It advances the construction of grid reinforcement projects and follows up on the implementation of new installations and capacity expansion projects for customers on a weekly basis.
"During preliminary grid connection work, State Grid Inner Mongolia branch provided us with significant support and assistance. They actively explored solutions to our issues, allowing us to experience a faster and better power supply service," noted Zhang Cunzhu, head of the production and technology department with Inner Mongolia chuangyuan metal.
The company will further leverage the advantages of power grid big data to fully assist customers in carrying out power trading, energy efficiency improvement, load management, among others, while further reducing customers' electricity costs, according to Zheng Shiying, director with the branch's marketing department.
