BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese rocket developer Galactic Energy on Thursday announced that it had signed strategic cooperation agreements on launch services separately with German firm FEM-Composites and Malaysia-based company Distant Blue, reported Shanghai Securities News.
According to its agreement with the German commercial space firm, Galactic Energy has been appointed as the main launch service provider and exclusive strategic partner of FEM-Composites in China.
Distant Blue, an aerospace enterprise jointly founded by entrepreneurs from China, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries, agreed to designate Galactic Energy as its primary launch service partner in China, as well as to use the Chinese company's commercial carrier rockets for launching.
The signing of the cooperation agreements marks Galactic Energy's in-depth cooperation with overseas space firms, allowing all partners to join hands in promoting the development of global commercial space industry.
