BEIJING, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chongqing SWS Medical Co. is strengthening its position in the global blood purification market through technological innovation, cost control, and full-chain solutions.
Gao Guangyong, chairman of the company, shared insights during an interview at the 50th Arab Health Exhibition, which opened on Monday in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This marks the company's sixth consecutive year participating in the event, displaying its latest advancements in medical devices and technologies.
As the first Chinese blood purification company listed on the STAR market, Chongqing SWS Medical Co. has been committed to becoming a global leader in blood purification since its founding in 2001.
The company has significantly expanded its international footprint, with products now exported to nearly 100 countries. In 2023, its overseas revenue grew by 91.65 percent, and in 2024, exports accounted for nearly 50 percent of the company's total sales.
Gao highlighted that technological innovation is key to competing with multinational giants, with the company's proprietary blood purification management system as a core competitive advantage.
Besides, the company's focus on cost-effective solutions has made it a leader in several markets, helping medical institutions reduce procurement and operational costs, Gao said.
Looking ahead, the company plans to launch a 200,000-square-meter production facility in 2025, further driving down costs and offering more competitive solutions, according to Gao.
