BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- A series of activities of the 2024 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs took place on Monday in Boao, a coastal town in south China's Hainan Province, attracting participants from all walks of life, including entrepreneurs of Fortune Global 500 companies, China's top 500 firms and leading industry players, to discuss how to develop new growth drivers based on favorable conditions.
Since its establishment in 2016, the Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs has convened eighth times. This year's forum, jointly hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the People's Government of Hainan Province, will last until Wednesday.
The event includes a main forum, conferences on innovation and development of digital technologies, new consumption development, innovation of new domestic brands, sub-forums on low-carbon circular economy, automotive industry development, as well as an exclusive closed-door meeting on opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence.
