November 20, 2024

Abstract : Chinese auto brand Exeed, a premium automotive brand launched by Chinese automaker Chery, has unveiled two SUV models in Egypt, as Chinese automakers are accelerating their expansion in the Middle East.

CAIRO, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese auto brand Exeed, a premium automotive brand launched by Chinese automaker Chery, has unveiled two SUV models in Egypt, as Chinese automakers are accelerating their expansion in the Middle East.

A launching ceremony held by Exeed on Monday in the Muhammad Ali Palace in northern Great Cairo attracted more than 1,000 guests from the two countries, including government representatives, auto dealers, auto experts, potential customers and media representatives.

During the ceremony, Exeed introduced two SUV models, namely Exeed RX and Exeed VX, delivering combination of luxury, innovative technology and exceptional performance.

National Automotive Company (NATCO), a leading Egyptian automotive dealer founded in 1988, is Exeed's local partner.

Karim Sami Saad, chairman of NATCO, said during the ceremony, "Our company has made it a mission to bring global brands to Egypt, and there is no denying that China has become an important player in the global automotive industry."

Saad affirmed that Exeed is "a brand that will meet and even exceed what Egyptian customers expect from us."

Qin Chao, CEO of Exeed International, told Xinhua that his company is striving to be a high-end mobility solution provider, adding that in Egypt, together with NATCO, Exeed will provide high-quality models to meet customer needs and contribute to the development of the Egyptian automotive industry.

On November 17, the production line of the Exeed cars was launched at the Egyptian-German Automotive's (EGA) factory in the Sixth of October City, Egypt's Ministry of Industry and Transport said in a statement.

When attending the production line's launch, Egypt's Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el-Wazir pointed out that the introduction of the Exeed vehicle aligns with Egypt's directives to transform Egypt into a leading industrial hub, particularly in the automotive industry.
