BEIJING, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The China International Import Expo (CIIE) serves as a platform for companies worldwide to explore China's market opportunities. China's domestic companies are also actively leveraging this global event to expand their international presence.
-- Embracing changes and unlocking potentials in global digital logistics
As Chinese businesses expand globally, their demands for international logistics are growing more sophisticated. YQN, a Chinese digital logistics service provider, participated in the CIIE to launch its global brand upgrade.
Speed, flexibility, and security are core strengths of YQN that help companies respond to rapid changes in global trade, said Xu Yang, co-founder of YQN.
Over the past decade, YQN has built a network of 25 overseas branches across North America, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Based on rapid decision-making and quick dispatch, the company serves industries like automotive, smart manufacturing, home and outdoor goods, furniture, new energy, and large-scale industrial projects.
YQN has invested heavily in expanding its transport resources, offering air, rail, and sea freight options, and strengthening end-to-end logistics, including overseas warehousing and last-mile delivery for cross-border e-commerce.
The company's digital initiatives, such as online quoting, booking, tracking, and contract fulfillment, create a seamless service experience for customers. Digital technology for cross-border e-commerce also enables clients to remotely monitor inventory and optimize multi-channel distribution.
By leaning on technological innovation, YQN aims to provide clients with peace of mind amid uncertainties in the international environment, Xu said.
-- Building a world-class fishery
At this year's CIIE, Shanghai Fisheries Group captured attention with its signature "Tuna Show", featuring a 3.2-meter, 388-kilogram tuna that set a new record.
The annual showcase marks the company's progress in establishing a global fishery supply chain, delivering premium marine products from ocean to table.
Last year, the company featured seafood from Kiribati at the expo, bringing the world's fresh catches to China. This year, they introduced more Kiribati specialties, such as yellowtail snapper, humphead wrasse, mantis shrimp, and other delicacies.
With the vision of building a world-class fishery, the company aims to expand its partnerships. This year, the group signed a strategic agreement with Morocco's Cisneros to collaborate in high-quality fish sourcing, processing, and trade.
Shanghai Fisheries Group continues to leverage its overseas fleets and bases to meet the needs of consumers and support China's initiatives as a maritime powerhouse.
-- Expanding Silk Road e-commerce
The Silk Road e-commerce has emerged as a major area in recent years in advancing economic and trade cooperation among Belt and Road partner countries, showcasing China's strengths in e-commerce technology, operation mode, and market scale.
This year, events were hosted during the CIIE to focus on promoting cooperation and innovation development in the Silk Road e-commerce sector and encourage Chinese enterprises to tap cooperation potential.
Mengxiang Technology, an invited exhibitor which specializes in intelligent distribution solutions, took the chance and presented its platform achievements, products, and success stories in cross-border e-commerce, attracting interest from manufacturers and brands from Silk Road e-commerce participating nations.
Since beginning its global expansion in 2020, the company has focused on helping foreign brands localize their sales channels. Using an AI-driven B2R (brands to resellers) model, the company efficiently connects brands with millions of distributors worldwide, creating a seamless integration of products and sales. Today, the company supports over 10,000 brands across more than 100 countries and regions.
Mengxiang Technology aims to collaborate with global e-commerce companies to foster innovation in the industry and promote the Silk Road e-commerce cooperation, said a company representative.
Going forward, Mengxiang Technology will continue to expand its cross-border business, working closely with brands in Silk Road e-commerce participating countries to bring more quality products to the market.
