GUANGZHOU, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- A think tank report on the synergization of civilizations was unveiled on Wednesday in Guangzhou, the capital city of south China's Guangdong Province.
Titled "On the Synergization of Civilizations -- A Chinese Perspective," the report was issued in Chinese by the think tank under Xinhua News Agency.
The report puts forward the concept of civilizational integration, which embodies values centered on humanity, integrity and innovation, mutual learning through exchange, shared destiny and harmonious coexistence. It advocates for the inclusive co-existence of different civilizations while transcending historical, cultural, geographic and institutional differences.
This concept, which is based on the distinctive characteristics and values of Chinese civilization, represents a novel civilizational paradigm for human development, epitomized by Chinese modernization, according to the report.
