BEIJING, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Nine international students from Linyi University embarked on a special journey to Mengyin County of Linyi City in east China's Shandong Province on September 14 to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival and relish the flavor of traditional Chinese snack mooncake.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional Chinese festival symbolizing family reunion and harmony, and mooncakes, as traditional delicacies of this festival, carry the warmth of home and the sentiment of missing.
The international students, under the guidance of pastry chefs, made mooncakes on their own.
