BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC, 000758.SZ) announced on Monday that its subsidiary in Indonesia has recently signed a contract with PT AMMAN MINERAL NUSA TENGGARA, an Indonesian mining company, to be the constructor of the latter copper ore dressing plant expansion project.
The contract is worth 4.28 million U.S. dollars (VAT excluded) and the subsidiary will be in charge of the construction and installation, procurement and transport management for the project.
If the project is implemented smoothly after the contract takes effect, it will have a positive impact on the company's business performance, said the NFC.
The NFC has a global presence in more than 50 countries and regions, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, India, Greece, Zambia, Mexico, Vietnam and Laos. It is engaged mainly in non-ferrous metals business consulting, mineral resources exploration, non-ferrous metals industrial design and research and development, and so on, according to its official website.
