BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Linyi Power Supply Company, a branch of State Grid Corporation of China in Linyi City, east China's Shandong Province, built a smart command hall for power supply service based on artificial intelligence (AI) assistant.
Powered by new technologies including AI, big data and intelligent voice, the new command hall is to further improve customers' perception of power consumption and better meet their power demand.
The AI-powered active repair platform incorporated in the smart command hall allows real-time monitoring and analysis of power consumption. This means the system can actively identify the abnormal areas of the power grid and inform the affected users, while notifying relevant staff to take immediate action.
No longer requiring the customers to take the initiative in reporting errors and contacting the power supply companies, the new platform realizes pre-control of customer demands, which further improves the efficiency of emergency repair.
The active repair platform has been deployed in Linyi City. Since the trial operation started in May, it has served 2.47 million customers and actively handled more than 600 cases, according to a representative with State Grid Linyi Power Supply Company.
In addition, the AI intelligent assistant equipped in the smart command hall has other functions including data statistics and analysis, providing data support for the optimization and improvement of power supply services.
In the future, the State Grid branch will continue to deepen construction of the smart command hall, enhancing intelligent and digital transformation of power supply services, and improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction through technological innovation, service process optimization and so on.
