Spanning over 52,000 square meters, the event's exhibition area drew participation from over 500 companies which presented more than 1,500 exhibits, including over 50 debut releases of new products, all hitting historical highs.

Nearly a hundred large models were displayed, with 18 humanoid robot matrices unveiled, including the debut of China's first full-size universal humanoid robot open-source public version. Noteworthy strides in large model corpus, such as the introduction of a corpus operation platform and the inaugural guidelines for corpus construction, were also presented.

It is noted that the event had facilitated the signing of 24 major industrial projects, with an estimated total investment exceeding 40 billion yuan, covering fields such as large models, embodied intelligence, and AI computing ecosystems.

Meanwhile, it also helped dock 126 project procurement requirements with intended purchase amounting to 15 billion yuan.

-- Multi-scenario applications surge

"AI + healthcare", "AI + energy", "AI + transportation"... An array of "AI +" scenarios have surged, showcasing AI's rapid integration with industries, daily life, and the future.

For instance, CITIC Group presented its latest AI application achievements across diverse sectors including comprehensive finance, global manufacturing, low-altitude economy, agricultural breeding, and more, including featuring interactive bond large models, industry-pioneering "lighthouse factory" sand table in the global special steel industry, and electric unmanned passenger aerial vehicles.

China Mobile Shanghai unveiled six major industry application scenarios of "AI × 5G-A", encompassing low-altitude economy, intelligent transportation, intelligent factories, intelligent energy, intelligent rail transit, and intelligent business districts, signaling the onset of digital intelligence.

Industry observers note that the diverse application scenarios stem from the continuous growth of market demand.

"I need assistance with official document preparation. Could you please suggest suitable solutions?" "What offerings do you have for report writing?" During the event, Liu Yidong, CTO of Midu Technology Co., Ltd., received a substantial increase in prospective customers with specific needs visiting the booth.

This trend is also evident in terms of order volume. In the domain of government administration-related large models, whereas MiChao received only single-digit commercial orders last year, orders had exceeded 40 in the first half of this year alone.

-- AI-empowered future unfolds

Above-noted AI application is moving fast, driving transformation across various sectors. A future empowered by AI is unfolding, observers say.

In manufacturing sector, for instance, the integration and application of AI is fast on the move.

As embodied intelligent robot technology gains greater attention, alongside notable advancements in terminal computing chip performance and breakthroughs in model training, robots are swiftly enhancing their intelligence levels, leading to the continued emergence of unmanned factories empowered by AI.

In the meantime, AI application for finance, infrastructures, energy, among other sectors, is also speeding up.

Guotai Junan has prioritized AI application and is actively promoting the "All in AI" strategy. This includes implementing multiple vertical application scenarios such as intelligent Q&A in investment banking and Lingxi intelligent investment consulting.
