BEIJING, July 10 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Henan Electric Power Company has taken efforts to improve its services to support energy storage projects, as Henan Province in central China has rolled out a series of measures to develop such projects.
In Xinyang city, the power grid company has optimized grid connection service process to help the commissioning of a 100 MW/200 MWh energy storage power station, which could store 90 million kWh of green electricity annually.
State Grid Xinyang Electric Power Supply Company, the local grid company, optimized the project's grid connection plan. By connecting the station to the 220 kV Jiangnan and Xiancheng power systems, it could increase the use of the station and help the operator generate more revenues.
