BEIJING, July 5 (Xinhua) -- A collection of cases and photos named "Al from China Benefits the World" was officially released during the 2024 World AI Conference opened in Shanghai Thursday, with prime examples of Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) products and technologies empowering the development of countries and regions all around the globe, aiming to show the world how Al technologies are benefiting all humankind.

Guided by the National Development and Reform Commission and produced by the China Economic Information Service (CEIS), the collection is written bilingually in Chinese and English with abundant cases and photos included, making itself a microcosm of Chinese AI solutions benefiting the world.
AI is a new frontier in human development and a pivotal force driving the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Currently, AI technology is experiencing meteoric development worldwide, exerting profound influence on economic and social development and the progress of human civilization, which also provides major support for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In recent years, China adheres to the people-centered and "Al for good" principles of development and governance, with the aim of enhancing the common well-being of humanity. It actively explores AI empowerment solutions in various fields, such as agriculture, healthcare and education.
The collection included many international cooperation cases on AI industry, such as how Al illuminates Pakistan's path to agricultural development, how intelligent inspection works as "Wind Turbine Blade Doctors" in Brazil, and also AI practice in innovative drug development, smart warehouses and insurance sector.
In the future, China is willing to work with all parties in the world to attach equal importance to development and security, strengthen dialogue and cooperation, jointly promote AI to empower the real economy, promote the formation of a global AI governance system with broad consensus, and inject more wisdom and unlimited possibilities into the progress of human civilization and sustainable development.
