BEIJING, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The State Grid Corporation of China held an international youth exchange event in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province on June 17, with the theme of "Joining Hands with Gen Z to Create a Green Future".
At the event, a total of 12 young representatives from 10 countries were brought together to contribute youth power to achieving green, low-carbon and sustainable development in the world.
This event took place in the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), which was jointly established by the governments of China and Singapore, and is the first cross-border industrial park in China. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the SIP.
Through diversified activities such as visits and discussions, the event allowed young representatives from across the world to know about the efforts of the State Grid in supporting Chinese industrial parks in technological innovation and environmental protection, and to experience Chinese modernization firsthand.
In addition, the young representatives had a tour in the Suzhou Industrial Park's planning exhibition hall and the Suzhou active distribution network demonstration project.

In the principle of planning together, building together and benefiting together, the company has been focusing on key markets and projects, and expanding its international business footprint with high standards.
