BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhua) -- The 5th Shanghai Y50 Forum for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, themed "Thriving in Shanghai · Scoring New Height - Symbiotic Growth: Youth and Urban Development", was convened in Shanghai on Saturday.
It aims to boost the connection and interaction between the government, enterprises and young talents, create a good ecology for innovation and entrepreneurship, and assist Shanghai in building a youth development-oriented city.
The forum has set up many links such as keynote speech, roundtable, and policy promotion around industrial development, business environment and related support, gathering a large number of young innovators and entrepreneurs, economists, scientists, businessmen, etc.
It has, for the first time, launched seven Shanghai youth innovation and entrepreneurship bases, a service team and a support program for innovation and entrepreneurship, and a research report on the innovation and entrepreneurship ecology in Shanghai.
The seven bases will play a guiding role in industrial focuses, support policies and supportive services, and forge comprehensive service platforms with advanced scientific and technological research institutions, active forces for innovation and entrepreneurship, strong financial capital for science and technology, and effective service systems.
The research report focuses on dimensions such as industrial clusters, talent gathering, policy services and support systems in Shanghai, comprehensively showcasing the thriving ecology of innovation and entrepreneurship in Shanghai over the past five years.
This year's forum continued to launch the top ten training camps for innovation and entrepreneurship of the year in Shanghai, and select the top ten young tech entrepreneurship trailblazers of the year in Shanghai, and the top ten innovative entrepreneurship cases of the year in Shanghai.
The top ten innovative entrepreneurship cases of the year in Shanghai is an important brand event of the forum, and its influence is increasing. This year's top ten cases were selected from 246 cases focusing on young innovators and entrepreneurs born in the 1980s and 1990s.
Held for five years, The Shanghai Y50 Forum for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has become a crucial exchange platform for young innovators and entrepreneurs, and formed a "1 plus 365" mode and a "1 plus N" brand matrix, namely one forum, many activities throughout the year.
