BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Staff members of State Grid unit inspected power supply and introduced key links in power security and operation at Chongqing COSMX Battery Co., Ltd. (Chongqing COSMX) in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Thursday, in a bid to help propel the growth momentum of the company.
Chongqing COSMAX, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhuhai COSMX Battery Co., Ltd., is a national high-tech company committed to the research and development (R&D), production and sales of polymer lithium-ion batteries. As a leading manufacturer of lithium-ion polymer batteries in the world, COSMAX has sold its products to many countries in Europe, North America and Asia, with great global reputation.

Producing such state-of-art product requires stable assembly lines with a constant temperature and humidity. A power outage may cause wide destruction of the assembly lines and induce huge losses. Besides, demanding high precision, the production equipment is also very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Therefore, stable power supply is of great significance to the battery maker.
Facing such power demand, State Grid Qijiang Power Supply Company sends staff members on a regular basis to conduct power check and power usage analysis. It also provided a custom-made power solution plan to reduce power cost for the company.
