BEIJING, March 20 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Henan Electric Power Supply Co, a local power grid company in central China’s Henan Province, recently put into operation its big data platform, named Henan Energy Big Data Center, in a bid to ensure Henan’s electricity supply, boost its energy transition, and promote economy development.
The platform integrates data from 18 local cities in the province in different fields such as economy development, electricity supply and demand, new energy production and carbon emissions.
The platform, which is now open to provincial and city-level governments in Henan, could provide 11 standardized functions and other 50 customized functions to help policy making. (Edited by Wang Sheng, wangsheng@xinhua.org)
