BEIJING, March 8 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) will issue 12 billion yuan of Treasury bonds in Hong Kong on March 13, reported Xinhua Finance on Thursday.
MOF will issue the Renminbi-denominated T-bonds of four different terms through related system of Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
MOF planned to issue three billion yuan of 2-year T-bonds, three billion yuan of 3-year T-bonds, three billion yuan of 5-year T-bonds and three billion yuan of 10-year T-bonds on March 13.
These T-bonds are the first batch of Renminbi-denominated T-bonds to be issued by MOF in Hong Kong this year.
Last year, MOF sold 50 billion yuan of Renminbi-denominated T-bonds in Hong Kong. (Edited by Duan Jing with Xinhua Silk Road, duanjing@xinhua.org)
