BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Linyi, a city named as Langya in ancient times, convened on January 12 a series of branding activities for the Langya Ancient City, pending to open on February 2, to build a new cultural tourism landmark.
Engaging attendance of 500-plus renowned intermediaries, merchant representatives, cultural tourism lovers and journalists, the brand releasing conference of these activities set its theme as "Entering the picturesque Langya" to leverage the appeal of Langya scenery and culture to further spur high-quality tourism development.

As a new model of joint investment by state-owned and private enterprises, Langya Ancient City embodied the city's pledges to further deepen public and private sector cooperation and cement local cultural tourism sector, said Zhang Hongliang, deputy general manager of Shandong Finance Group.
Hu Bing, chief creative designer of Langya Ancient City encouraged attendees of the brand releasing conference to look for the beauty of the ancient city in touring related scenic areas and exploring Langya culture.
The city also inked strategic cooperation deals with many travel agencies, online travel agencies and merchants to beat drum for the Langya Ancient City and awarded a license to the "Cultural Tourism Influencers Live Streaming Base" to craft a new model of scenic zone plus live streaming-based brand dissemination.
In an epic in-door show staged during the brand releasing conference, audiences thoroughly immersed in the legendary Langya cultural world where artists represented the reputed history of Linyi and admirable cultural characters of Langya ancestors and sages such as being open minded, courageous, loyal, benevolent, and dutiful.

In the week prior to its formal opening, Langya Ancient City will open tickets booking channels on its official WeChat account and platforms of large online travel agencies to unlock the emerging new cultural hallmark of Linyi in east China's Shandong.
