BEIJING, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- The 10th China-ASEAN (Nanning) Theater Week was concluded recently in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Luo Jiaming, a Thai student at Guangxi Minzu University, went to various theaters every day during the event to enjoy the wonderful stage plays in a bid to experience traditional culture and artistic charm of China and ASEAN member countries.
Luo came to China six years ago. By learning Chinese, she fell in love with traditional Chinese drama.
On December 7, a drama presented by a Thai troupe generated some buzz among audience during the theater week.
Luo was very proud that the Thai drama was staged during this theater week.
Meanwhile, she expressed that she is very willing to make due efforts to promote cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
As a significant event in the cultural calendar of Guangxi, China-ASEAN (Nanning) Theater Week has become an important platform for displaying the charm of art and facilitating cultural exchange and understanding between China and ASEAN member countries.
