BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- A cultural exchange group organized by Brazil-based subordinate companies under CRRC visited Sao Paulo University in Brazil and held a unique scientific and technological lecture and cultural exchange activity at the university on Tuesday.
More than 120 attendants participated in the event, including the relevant officers of Goldwind (Brazil), Sinoma International (Brazil), TMI and related subsidiaries of CRRC as well as the teachers and students from Sao Paulo University.
"This year marks the 20th year that CRRC products have been serving Brazil by providing subway trains for Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and other cities. In the field of new energy, wind power generators and photovoltaic modules manufactured by CRRC have been operating in many regions of Brazil," said a representative of CRRC's wind power business.
Starting with the working principle of the core power electric drive system of high-speed train and wind turbine, the commentator of the CRRC group deciphered why the high-speed train runs fast and how the wind turbine operates. The delegation also shared CRRC's practice and conception contributing to China-Brazil smart city construction.
At the event, a series of cultural and creative products with CRRC characteristics attracted lots of attention, including the silk scarf with oriental charm, an ancient painting created in Song Dynasty, the high-end "Fuxing" EMU model, and the exquisite and unique high-speed train-shaped gel pen.
While explaining the story of those cultural and creative products, the CRRC staff demonstrated the beautiful vision of CRRC to serve the world under the cross-cultural fusion between China and Brazil.
