BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Finance issued yuan-denominated treasury bonds worth a total of 16 billion yuan (about 2.23 billion U.S. dollars) in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Wednesday.
The issuance included 4 billion yuan of two-year bonds, 5 billion yuan of three-year bonds, 4 billion yuan of 5-year bonds, and 3 billion yuan of 10-year bonds, according to the ministry.
The bonds' respective interest rates are 2.65 percent, 2.75 percent, 2.85 percent and 2.95 percent.
The issuance was well received by investors with the total bid amount 2.44 times the amount in circulation, the ministry said.
