BEIJING, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- China's auto parts and components manufacturer Changshu TONGRUN AUTO ACCESSORY CO., LTD.(Changrun) held a groundbreaking ceremony recently for its production base in Thailand, marking enhancement of the company's strategic layout of integrating international market resources, reported Xinhua-run China Securities Journal.
According to previous announcements, the company intends to invest an amount of not exceeding 26 million U.S. dollars to build Torin Thailand production base project, with planned construction period of 12 months.
The project will mainly produce automobile supporting jacks, hydraulic jacks, and other automobile maintenance equipment and vehicle supporting products, which will be exported to Australia and Southeast Asia and other international markets.
Changrun said that the construction of the project is conducive to the company to better meet the needs of customers in the international market, and improve the company's core competitiveness.
Besides, the company believes that in the future, the downstream market demand will continue to grow with the expanding domestic and overseas vehicle market. Changrun will gradually increase the variety of its products, and build an auto part products ecosystem to provide customers with efficient, convenient products and services.
