BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The closing ceremony of the 17th Yichun Moon Culture Tourism Festival was held Thursday evening in east China's Jiangxi Province, where international students from Yichun University had a close-up experience of traditional Chinese culture.
Themed on moon culture, the closing ceremony consisted of four classic folk activities, which stretched from the Yichun downtown sports center to the municipal building square, bringing a shocking visual feast to the public.
It is worth mentioning that in the Mid-Autumn Moon Worship ceremony of closing performance, tea picking opera, a local art resource of Yichun, is added to the program. The closing ceremony also featured modern drone performance. 1,000 drones made 14 sets of beautiful shapes, lighting up the night of Yichun together with the bright moon in the starry sky through giant subtitles and 3D three-dimensional holographic presentation.
Muhammad Ali, an international student from Pakistan, was impressed by the drone performance. He expressed his gratitude for inviting him to participate in such an interesting event, and said that he had spent a pleasant Mid-Autumn Festival and enjoyed the atmosphere so much.
