BEIJING, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- The traditional Chinese medicinal (TCM) herb farming in Mengzhuang Town at Shizhong District of Zaozhuang City in east China's Shandong Province has witnessed a bountiful harvest this autumn, continuously invigorating local rural revitalization.
Covering an area of approximately 300 mu (about 20 hectares), the TCM herb farms in Mengzhuang Town mainly plant herbs such as Perilla frutescens, Eclipta and Chrysanthemum, contributing an annual increase of approximately 150,000 in income to the village collective, thereby further improving villagers' living standards, according to Hu Lecheng, an official of Xiadaogou Village in Mengzhuang Town.
