BEIJING, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Central China's Hubei Province sees its automobile export value reach 10.36 billion yuan in the first seven months of this year, more than doubling from the same period of last year, data from the Wuhan Customs showed.
It is learned that the province's total import and export value amounted to 353.98 billion yuan from January to July, up 1.4 percent year on year.
During the period, the province's trade with its largest trading partner, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), totaled 58.61 billion yuan during the period, up over 10 percent year on year.
The foreign trade value contributed by the province's private sector reached 238.58 billion yuan, up more than 10 percent, accounting for 67.4 percent of the province's total. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
